B&C Morning Show: Jerry's Update And Boomer's New T-Shirt

Jerry's first update of the morning was chock-full of all sorts of information, beginning with the lowdown on the Yankees, who lost to the Rays by a score of 5-2 Monday, and the exciting wild card race between the aforementioned Rays and the Red Sox.

Boston lost to the Orioles 6-3, their 5th loss in 6 games.

Meanwhile the Mets lost 6-5 to the Reds, but did get 3 hits courtesy of Jose Reyes, who is battling the Brewers' Ryan Braun for the NL batting title. So there's that, Mets fans.

The eliminated Amazin's are a mere 13 games out of the wild card, which like the AL wild card is going down to the bitter end, as the Cardinals trail the Braves by just one game.

Rex Ryan responded to the comments made by 'Broadway Joe' Namath, where the Hall of Fame QB questioned Rex's style and his team's preparation.  After hearing both sides, Boomer & Craig had one piece of advice for the Jets head coach - 'Don't Go Changing' - somewhere Billy Joel is smiling or possibly cringing.

As for the players currently on the Jets roster, Mark Sanchez and Antonio Cormartie are a little worse for the wear after Sunday's loss in Oakland.  Sanchez suffered a broken nose, while Cromartie has a bruised rib and lung - at this point their status is uncertain.

The Cowboys improved to 2-1, as a battered Tony Romo led his team to victory over the Redskins last night in Big D.

Then the guys discussed the NHL's announcement regarding their Winter Classic - which will take place January 2nd in Philadelphia - between the Rangers and the Flyers.  From there Boomer & Craig raced to send a text message to the Commissioner of the NHL Gary Bettman, to try and secure tickets for the league's marquee event.

After all of that, Boomer revealed his new t-shirt (pictured) - courtesy of The 7 Line - which for some reason Craig didn't love...
