1. Green Bay Packers 3-0 (1)
Aaron Rodgers to Jermichael Finley is the best quarterback to tight end combo in the league, but I’m still looking for the hold on the Johnny Knox punt return.
Next: vs Broncos
2. Detroit Lions 3-0 (8)
Let’s face it, outside of the champs nobody is playing better than these guys.
Next: @ Cowboys
3. Buffalo Bills 3-0 (unranked)
The “Comeback Kids.” After overcoming 21-3 and 21-0 deficits versus the Raiders and Pats, you must give the Bills their due. It helps that the quarterback went to Harvard.
Next: @ Bengals
4. New Orleans Saints 2-1 (4)
Nice come from behind win versus the Texans. I still have concerns about their defense.
Next: @ Jaguars
5. Baltimore Ravens 2-1 (9)
They did what elite teams should do by obliterating a lousy Rams team after their loss to the Titans. Now Flacco has a new weapon in Torrey Smith.
Next: vs Jets
6. New England Patriots 2-1 (2)
I guess Tom Brady is human after all with his four INT disaster in Buffalo. The Patriots defense is still very shaky.
Next: @ Raiders
7. Pittsburgh Steelers 2-1 (5)
They were very fortunate to escape Indy with a win, but the turnovers were alarming. Whatever happened to vaunted Pittsburgh running game?
Next: @ Texans
8. New York Giants 2-1 (unranked)
They played their best game in years in a smack down of the Eagles’ “Dream Team.” Now they must avoid having a letdown in Arizona. Keep up the good work Kevin Gilbride!
Next: @ Cardinals
9. Oakland Raiders 2-1 (unranked)
The “Silver and Black” are one bad half in Buffalo away from being undefeated. They are as physical as anyone in the league and Darren McFadden just ran by the Jets defense again.
Next: vs. Patriots
10. New York Jets 2-1 (3)
The alleged great defense was trampled by the Raiders’ running game. We’ll find out a lot about this team in the next two weeks when they go on the road to Baltimore and New England. Wayne Hunter may be worst right tackle in the league.
Next: @ Ravens
Bubble Teams: Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Bucs
