Suspect Sought In Dunkin' Donuts Robbery In Greenpoint
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect wanted in the armed robbery of a Dunkin' Donuts in Greenpoint.
The suspect walked up to the register at the store on McGuinness Boulevard shortly after midnight Sunday and demanded cash from a worker at gunpoint, police said.
He fired the gun once and the bullet struck a shelf behind the counter, police said.
The suspect was last seen fleeing north on McGuinness Boulevard.
No injuries were reported.
Police say the suspect is a Black or Hispanic man, approximately 20 to 25-years-old, 5' 10" to 6'02" with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a Yankees baseball cap, a button-down shirt with red, black and white stripes, dark jeans and black sneakers.
