Police say it was last seen on September 22. The chalice was stolen from the rear closet inside the cathedral.

The cup is gold-plated and sterling silver with a platinum cross and wedding band attached. It has a description from 1962 that reads “Dear Jimmy, Love Mom and Dad.”

Police say there is a reward for information that leads to an arrest in this case.
