Police Release Sketch Of Gold-Plated Chalice Stolen From L.I. Church

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police in Nassau County have released a sketch of a gold-plated, sterling silver chalice that was taken from a Rockville Centre church.

The chalice was last seen on September 22 and police believe that it was stolen from St. Agnes Cathedral between then and September 28. It was taken from the rear closet inside the cathedral.

The cup also features a platinum cross and a wedding band is attached to it. It has a description from 1962 that reads “Dear Jimmy, Love Mom and Dad.”

Anyone with information regarding the missing chalice is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.

    Unfortunately, this wasn’t the only thing stolen in this diocese.

    Thousands of Innocent Children were raped by priests and had their Childhoods robbed and destroyed. And this Diocese continues to “Cover up” that Scandal and fight its own victims from seeing any justice whatsoever.

    Read the Suffolk County Grand Jury Investigative Report of this diocese, it will leave you questioning these men of the Rags.
