NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) – Rutgers says forward Kadeem Jack will have surgery on his right foot this week and likely be out for three to four months.
Scarlet Knights coach Mike Rice said Monday that the redshirt freshman from Queens was injured during a preseason workout on Friday.
He didn’t disclose further details.
“Kadeem has worked extremely hard in preparation for the season,” Rice said in a statement. “He will remain very much involved in all team activities and we look forward to his complete recovery.”
Jack enrolled at Rutgers last December.
