Van Lands On Top Of Boat In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Investigators are trying to figure out how a van ended up on a boat in Queens.

According to police, the driver of the van sideswiped a Chevy Tahoe while traveling eastbound on the Belt Parkway just after 8 a.m. Thursday.

A witness says the van was driving between 60 an 80 miles per hour when it plowed through a fence and ended up on the boat.

The driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Why transport the driver to a hospital? Save taxpayer money and just toss it in the water.
