Bob Massey, 68, disappeared after setting out for his routine afternoon walk last Tuesday and now people of the town are searching in large numbers on Saturday.

"We'll stage here at the high school and give instructions by rescue crews and our emergency management team on how to search," first electman Mark Walker said.

Walker said Massey suffers from a mild form of dementia and they're becoming increasingly concerned about how Massey could be dealing with the cold nights.

Walker expects hundreds of people to come help look for Massey.

"If the turnout is really big, we might even ask people to stage their different times of day because we are expecting a pretty good turnout," Walker said.

Massey left home wearing only trousers and a sweatshirt.
