B&C Morning Show: 'Man-Witch' Tony La Russa's Communication Breakdown And Much More

Jerry Recco's first update of the morning began with Game 5 of the World Series, which went to the Texas Rangers by a score of 4-2.

Things got interesting in this one during the bottom of the eighth, when Cardinals manager Tony 'The Man-Witch' La Russa had trouble communicating with his bullpen due to crowd noise in Texas, so in turn didn't get the pitcher he was lookin' for.

Perhaps next time La Russa might try a different means of communication, there have been big strides made in technology over the last few years.  Boomer & Craig talked about the inexcusable gaffe by La Russa - who according to many invented the game of baseball.

Then we heard all about the exciting Monday night Football Game between the Ravens and the Jaguars, where both teams combined to average just 2.94 yards per play.  The Jags somehow managed to win the game by a score of 12-7, putting a bow on a forgetful Week 7 in the NFL.

Craig offered his best Jack Buck impersonation while critiquing Kevin Harlan's play-by-play work, a few MLB and NFL tidbits from Jerry and a NY Rangers-Winnipeg Jets recap that brought a smile to the face of the Blonde Bomber.

The Blueshirts got the 2-1 win and will open up at the refurbished MSG this Thursday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs...
