DaJuan Coleman Verbally Commits To Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - DaJuan Coleman, a blue-chip prospect for Jamesville-DeWitt High School, has verbally committed to play for Jim Boeheim's Syracuse Orange.

One of the highest-rated high school prospects in the nation, the 6-foot-10, 280-pound center made his announcement Tuesday afternoon at his suburban Syracuse high school to chants of "Let's Go Orange!'' as he donned a Syracuse hat.
Coleman had narrowed his choice to either Syracuse, Kentucky, and Ohio State.

Coleman averaged 24.5 points and 14 rebounds last year as a junior and led Jamesville-DeWitt to the 2011 New York State Class A championship. It was the third straight state title for the Red Rams during Coleman's prep career.
