TSA Agent Who Left Racy Note In Blogger's Luggage To Be Fired

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Memo to TSA Agents: Freak not with passengers' luggage.

The Transportation Security Administration worker at Newark Liberty International Airport who left a note in blogger Jill Filipovic's luggage will be fired, spokeswoman Kawika Riley told the Associated Press.

Filipovic flew from Newark to Dublin over the weekend. When she opened her luggage, she found a personalized note on an official TSA form.

The note read "GET YOUR FREAK ON GIRL."

Filipovic had packed a small vibrator in her suitcase.

Previously the TSA announced it was removing the worker from screening operations. Now the agency says it has apologized to Filipovic and is sacking the worker.

Filipovic, who Tweeted a photo of the note, says she felt the note was a "Total violation of privacy, wildly inappropriate and clearly not ok, but I also just died laughing in my hotel room."

What do you make of the decision to fire the worker? Sound off in our comments section.
