B&C Morning Show: Giants & Jets Are The Talk Of The Town; Smokin’ Joe Frazier Passes-Away
The guys began today’s Show on a somber note, discussing the passing of Smokin’ Joe Frazier at the age of 67 and reflecting on the former Undisputed Heavy Weight Champion of the World’s life.
From there the guys shifted their attention to last night’s Bears-Eagles game, which Boomer called on Westwood One Radio Network and had implications for the first place New York Giants.
After winning two-in-a-row, the Eagles coughed up a 24-20 4th quarter lead and went on to lose by 30-24, dropping to 3-5 and into 3rd place in the NFC East behind the Giants (6-2) and the Cowboys (4-4).
Craig is ready and willing to write off the Eagles today (he tends to fly off the handle with these declarations), while Boomer referenced their up-coming schedule and is not quite ready to close the book on Andy Reid’s team.
Craig the ‘proud Papa’ also filled us in on a revelation his son Lucky T had with regards to declined goal scoring and watching too much TV – and NY Daily News columnist Gary Myers’ latest piece makes the back page, but doesn’t sit too well with Craig…
