Nicks, Baas Active For Giants

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks is active for the NFC showdown with the San Francisco 49ers, back from a hamstring injury that kept him out of last Sunday’s comeback win over the Patriots.

Center David Baas, who had been nursing a knee injury, also is active for New York against his former team. First-round draft pick cornerback Prince Amukamara is sidelined with a foot injury.

Defensive lineman Ray McDonald returns for the 49ers after missing his first game since 2008 last Sunday at Washington because of a hamstring injury.
