With the camera rolling, Shawn Booth, 30, told her boys that she ate all of their Halloween candy.

"I didn't know it was going to be such a hit, I really didn't," Booth told 1010 WINS' Mona Rivera.

Unlike most children in the video contest, who threw tantrums by kicking and screaming and throwing themselves on the floor, the Booth boys were shocked but took on a parental tone and gave their mother a stern talking to.

"Now you're probably going to get a bellyache, that's why you shouldn't eat so much candy," C.J. told his mother in the video. "You can't eat two bags of candy."

In the video, when Booth tells them she ate all of the peanut butter cups, Jake gasps and says, "You sneaky mom!"

Booth said she hesitated about submitting the video thinking that the big tantrums would win the challenge.

"I almost didn't upload it because they didn't react that much," Booth said.

C.J. and Jake not only won the video contest they also appeared on "The Jimmy Kimmel Show" and got a trip to Disneyland.

"I always told them that when they have good behavior they get rewards and this was a really awesome reward," Booth said.

Now, the boys are trying to get back to normal after their brush with fame. The original YouTube video has been viewed nearly 1.5 million times since it was posted on Nov. 1.
