8 Baby Penguins Star As 'The Real Chicks Of Central Park Zoo'

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – You've heard of the Real Housewives of New York.

Now meet the Real Chicks of Central Park.

It's a new blog launched by the Central Park Zoo, which features photos, videos and interviews with four young penguin chicks.

"We wanted to show people what goes into hand rearing the penguin chicks from day one and share the growth process," said Jeff Sailer, Director of City Zoos. "These new additions to the penguin colony are a success in animal husbandry and reflect the bird expertise we have at the Central Park Zoo."

Visitors can visit centralparkzoo.com/chicks to check out the chick flicks. To catch them in real life, the penguin chicks can now be seen on exhibit in the zoo's Penguin House.
