B&C Morning Show: Jerry Updates Us All

After the Penn State scandal garnered so much attention last week, we all hoped that there wouldn't be too much focus on the disturbing story moving forward.

Then Jerry Sandusky made the decision to talk with NBC's Bob Costas and claim his innocence.  Jerry began his first update of the morning, recapping the unsettling interview and providing some audio of the exchange.

We also heard from Sandusky's attorney Joe Amendola, who also maintains his client's innocence.  As for Mike McQueary, he apparently sent an email to former players, telling them that "he didn't just turn & run" when he caught Sandusky in the shower with a young boy.  He said "he made sure it stopped" - which contradicts he grand jury testimony.

As for last night's Vikings-Packers game, it was pretty one-sided as the Pack blew out the Vikings 45-7.  Boomer called the game on the Westwood One Radio Network, along with Kevin Harlan and we got to hear an example of Harlan's descriptive play-by-play work (Boomer was sure not to jump any of his partner's calls).  Aaron Rodgers threw 4 more touchdown passes - raising his season total to 28, to go along with just 3 interceptions.

Plus, audio proof of Rex Ryan's 'potty-mouth' - Tom Coughlin talks about preparing for the Eagles, with or without Michael Vick - NBA lockout day #138 and things take a turn for the worse as players are now planning to decertify and file an antitrust lawsuit - and Rangers-Islanders tonight at the Coliseum and the Devils travel to Boston to take on the Bruins...
