Pedestrian Hit, Killed In Bronx
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A pedestrian died on Saturday night after being struck by two cars in the Bronx.
Bosey L. Johnson, 53, of the Bronx, was hit while crossing Boston Road near 174 Street at 11:20 p.m. by a vehicle traveling southbound, which threw him to the pavement in the northbound lane, police said.
A second car traveling northbound tried avoid him, swerving to the right but still hit and ran over Johnson.
EMS transported Johnson to St. Barnabus Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
There is no criminality suspected, police said.
