There was quite a bit made this morning about the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty called on the Eagles’ DeSean Jackson in the 2nd quarter last night for taunting the Giants sideline.  A penalty that ended up costing the Eagles a 50-yard pass play.

Craig wanted to know how an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty (which in this case was a dead-ball foul) is negated by the off-setting penalty rule.  He instructed Al Dukes to reach out to Fox’s Mike Pereira to try and  clear things-up.

Predictably Al did not reach out to Pereira, instead choosing just to read something he wrote on the subject yesterday.

Craig was not satisfied with the explanation Al provided, but it will apparently have to do because Al appeared to be done doing any leg work…
