Shoppers across the country are camping outside the doors of some major retailers.

EXTRA: Planning For Black Friday

Many of them, including Wal-Mart, Target and Best Buy, are opening at midnight or earlier Thanksgiving Day.

Toys ‘R’ Us has one of the earliest starts this year, with Black Friday sales starting on Thursday at 9 p.m. Wal-Mart is starting its holiday sales at 10 p.m. Thursday.

Guide: Gifts For $10 Or Less

Around 55 million Americans say they’re going to be shopping on Black Friday.

While Black Friday sales seem to be coming earlier each year, Occupy Wall Street doesn’t want you to shop at all.

According to their website, OWS is calling Nov. 25 “Buy Nothing Day” and are staging protests, mall sit-ins and other demonstrations at sites around the country.

What do you think? Is Thanksgiving day too soon to be shopping for the holidays? Will you be hitting the stores? Sound off below in our comments section…

I am more inclined, to be sitting, sipping my vit. water, in my jammies, getting the same deals, as the people who went out this morning and are standing in line for hours. Except my purchases will be shipped right to my door for free and no sales tax. I feel giddy. :o)
All the amazing deals are right below. Stay warm and shop online!

You diddn’t report that some retailers are opening all day on Thanskgiving Day. The Disney Store at Times Square is opening 10 am – 8 pm. What kind of Thanksgiving dinner are those employees going to have?
