NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – It’s going to be a rough weekend for straphangers trying to go in and out of Brooklyn.
Subway construction and reparation projects will cause several service changes that will start late Friday evening and last through the weekend.
LISTEN 1010 WINS’ Terry Sheridan reports
The L train service has been suspended between Broadway Junction and Eighth Avenue while there are no 2 trains between Brooklyn and Manhattan. There will be no 3 train service between New Lots and 14th Street.
In addition to those changes, the Q train service has been suspended between Prospect Park and 57th Street.
To make up for these changes, the MTA is offering M train service from Metropolitan Avenue to 57th Street. There will also be less severe disruptions in Manhattan and the Bronx.
