The Jets ended their two-game slide with a 28-24 win over the Buffalo Bills yesterday afternoon, got four TD passes from Mark Sanchez and improved to 6-5 .
Seems like fans of Rex’s Gang Green would have reason to be smiling from ear-to-ear this Monday morning. Well Craig the Jets fan wasn’t one of them and his foul mood had nothing to do with his double hernia surgery.
Actually Craig is recovering quite nicely from Wednesday’s operation and he did say he was willing to ‘take’ the Jets win, but he came away from yesterday’s game with many concerns, beginning with the defensive unit – who almost blew another game late and got a shaky performance from their ‘all-world’ cornerback Darrelle Revis.
Boomer was quick to point out that the Jets weren’t the only team to ‘win ugly’ in Week 12 and that at this point of the year, you take a win any way you can get it. The Blonde Bomber also hurled praise in the direction of Mark Sanchez – who despite the 4 TD’s, didn’t have a great statistical game – but came-up big when he had to.
Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer is not Craig’s favorite offensive coordinator in the world, so needless to say the news that Schotty inked a two-year contract extension with the Jets didn’t sit to well with poor Craigie.
So a whole lotta Jets talk – both positive & negative – to open-up today’s edition of the Morning Extravaganza, as a recovering Craig took his seat aside Boomer and the Dynamic Radio Duo did their thing…
