Before getting to the football news, Jerry began his first update with some news from the world of baseball, as reports have Bobby Valentine being named the next manager of the Boston Red Sox and the Mets make a free-agent 'splash' by signing pitcher turned outfielder Adam Loewen to a minor league deal, while Nick Evans departs from the 'Not So Amazins' in favor of the Pittsburgh Pirates minor league system.

Jerry then reported some news Giants fans aren't going to be to happy to hear, as it looks like defensive end Osi Umenyiora will likely miss Sunday's game against the Packers with an ankle injury.
Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has had enough, while Justin Tuck is starting to question his own motivation. Antrel Rolle joined Joe & Evan yesterday on the Mid-Day Show and once again relied on his 'at the end of the day' crutch.
