Dentist Sued For Allegedly Trying To Get Patients To Not Criticize Her Online

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) - A lawsuit says there's at least one dentist who wants her patients to shut their yappers.

According to the suit, Dr. Stacy Mahknevich allegedly forced patients to sign an agreement not to criticize her online.

The lawsuit was filed by her former patient, Robert Lee. Lee apparently posted a review of Mahknevich on Yelp, alleging he was overbilled by $4,000.

Lee claims Mahknevich said he was in breach of the privacy agreement he signed and started billing him, to the tune of $100 a day for every day his review remained online.

Mahknevich moonlights as a singer who sells her MP3s online.
