1010 WINS' Glenn Schuck reported that the 34-year-old suspect is also believed to be responsible for a shooting several blocks away at a public housing complex on Guy Brewer Boulevard in which an 18-year-old man was killed.  That shooting happened around 3:40 p.m.

The gunfire in the middle of a busy Friday afternoon in Queens left people running for cover.

"Right before we crossed the street, heard about 3, 4 pops and what we know, we're hearing living in neighborhoods like this we knew it was gunshots," one man told Schuck.

There is still no word on what may have promoted the deadly violence outside Jamaica Station.  A 9-millimeter gun was recovered at the scene.

The injured man was taken to Jamaica Hospital.
