Suffolk County Man Dies In Car Crash Saturday
RONKONKOMA, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Suffolk County Police are investigating a single vehicle crash that killed a 47-year-old man in Ronkonkoma Saturday.
Police say Dominick Hatzmarkos, 47, was traveling eastbound on Forest Court when he apparently lost control of his 2008 Nissan Maxima, struck a fence, and crashed into a home at 5 East Drive.
The accident happened around 1:45 p.m.
Hatzmarkos was transported by Lakeland Ambulance Company to Stony Brook University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The residents of the home were not injured.
