Police: Parents Abandon Child At Queens Burger King

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police have arrested a father and mother for allegedly abandoning their baby at a Burger King.

The 4-month-old girl was found abandoned on one of the tables of the restaurant located at Rockaway Boulevard near the Belt Parkway.

The parents were tracked down and arrested.

Kimberly Brundidge, 27, of Rockville Centre has been charged with child abandonment and acting in a manner injurious to a child. The girl's father, 20-year-old Kendall Westly, has been charged with making a false report and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

The child was examined and is now in the custody of the Administration for Children's Services.
