Boomer & Craig were thrilled to take a call from Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders this morning.
Sanders is one of only a handful of players that Boomer would actually stop to watch when he was playing. The former Lions running back talked about his playing career and how life has treated him following his retirement from the NFL.
The guys also got Sanders take on some current issues in the league and what kind of chances the current Lions club has of making the playoffs.
Sanders joined the show on behalf of Miller Lite and is part of a contest where a lucky bidder wins the chance to spend an afternoon with him watching football. Craig certainly liked the sound of that and thinks if he wins the contest that he could forge a long-lasting relationship with Mr. Sanders…
