“From what I heard and what I have an understanding of, it wasn’t no back and forth. It was actually a rapid one after the other. There were five (shots),” resident Ikeme Chukunta told CBS 2’s Dave Carlin.

“Grew up here all my life. First time something like streets blocked off, tell me I got to park somewhere else. Thank God nothing happened to my family,” said resident Steve Knezevic.

Wow. That can be a traumatic experience. You have my sympathy. Let’s be confident that the people involved and the Prosecutor’s Office will do the right thing. I hope you are in a safe place and have a support system. Please consider starting a journal ASAP. It will come in handy now and years down the road -believe me.
I have personal experience with GPD cover-ups. You’d be amazed at what some (not all) of them are capable of. Please, you and your family be (very) careful.
