NJ Woman Foils Carjacker With Quick Maneuver

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Quick thinking by a woman in Essex County helps police nab a carjacking suspect.

Authorities say 22-year-old Isaiah Green of Newark grabbed a woman in South Orange Saturday afternoon and forced her to drive toward Newark.

While driving, the victim saw an Essex County Sheriff’s vehicle and purposely crashed into it, sending Green fleeing on foot. He eluded police in Vailsburg Park but was arrested several hours later.

Green has been charged with robbery, carjacking and other offenses. He was being held on $250,000 bail.

I don’t get this chick either. She posts the same thing on most stories. I think she may have a mental condition and is off her meds

Another reason why honest law abiding citizens should be allowed to carry a fire arm.

Sadly, it is not the honest, law-abiding citizens that are carrying. All the other so-called citizens are carrying — and not legally. Might be good if people keep in mind what the old military poster said “YOUR BRAIN IS YOUR PRIMARY WEAPON.” So, use it. Situational awareness goes a long way.

Oops. Correction: “YOUR MIND IS YOUR PRIMARY WEAPON.”

Let’s say she was carrying and reached for her gun just to get shot and killed before she was able to shoot her assailant. How would that help to make your point in any way whatsoever? Try using the brain that God gave you instead of parroting something you watched on Faux News.

Way to go! That is what I teach in my self-defense seminars — if and when the opportunity presents itself — take it!. Preferably, never go to a second location if you can help it. Glad she is safe.
