This might not be the busiest shopping day of the year, but FedEx says it's the busiest shipping day.
The company says it's moving 17 million packages.

In the West Village, driver Andre Taylor said he is seeing the difference. "It's hectic, a lot of packages," he told WCBS 880 reporter Peter Haskell of the dramatic increase. "Usually we'll have like 200 and something to like one truck. Today, we're seeing like 500."
All these extra packages mean extra hours -- and that means more money. Driver Eric Martin is thrilled.
"Mostly rent, bills, Christmas presents, anything, personal stuff, all that," he said.
FedEx calls this its busiest shipping day ever.
