NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Meet the Debts!

The Metropolitans these days are making more deals with banks than baseball teams. They don't acquire players, they pick up loans!

The Mets had so many loans they had to pay back, they had to take out loans to pay back the loans they already had.

The Mets' needs going into this offseason: acquire a closer and closing statements.

Their motto for all of 2012: "Closure Before Foreclosure!"
