B&C Morning Show: Joe Theismann Has An Answer For Every Question

Boomer was thrilled to welcome Joe Theismann to the program shortly after 7 a.m. because first of all, the guy knows his football and secondly he has the gift of gab. And with Craig out, the Booms needed a little rest.

Theismann sounded equally excited, with Craig's absence he knew the deck was clear for him to get his point of view out there. And with the Giants welcoming the Redskins in this Sunday, Theismann offered his take on the path his former team have gone down this season so far.

As for the Skins' opponent, the guys both praised Giants quarterback Eli Manning for his tremendous season and talked about his ex-teammate Barry Cofield referring to him as a ' completely different animal this year' - according to the  Washington Post.

From there the two former NFL signal callers are in agreement that they Green Bay Packers should go all out to try and complete their undefeated season.  Boomer & Theismann also talked about Tim Tebow and what he and the Denver Broncos have been able to accomplish thus far, posting a 7-1 record in games started by the second-year quarterback. Also on the docket:  James Harrison's suspension and the message it sends to him and the entire league.

After saying goodbye, Boomer let us know that he once worked as a bouncer at a restaurant owned by Theismann while he was a red-shirt freshman at Maryland (hope that isn't some sort of NCAA violation).  Al Dukes then confidently added that Boomer actually wore the no. 7 because of Theismann, which could not have been further from the truth...
