NYPD: 2 Unrelated Subway Robberies At Same Bronx Station On Same Day

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police are searching for suspects in two unrelated knife point attacks at the same Bronx subway station on the same day.

Police say just before 3 p.m. Sunday, two men stole a BlackBerry from an 18-year-old woman at the 231st Street stop on the 1 line.

Three hours later, police say another man tried to steal a 42-year-old woman’s iPhone.

She suffered minor cuts when she fought back. The man ran off empty-handed.
