NEW YORK (CBS2) — In this edition of Eye On New York, New Yorkers air their grievances to 1010 WINS reporter John Montone. This weeks edition includes angry delivery drivers and a former Mets fan.

    Elevators: Wycloff Heights Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY
    Hospital management requires the hospital maintenance employees to respond to elevator trap calls. It is mandatory that the employees try to remove the person(s) out of the elevator. (Trap calls: Person(s) inside of elevator(s) not moving and doors closed). Hospital employees were given a one hour in-service by Otis Elevator Company on the following:
    1. How to open elevator doors using elevator key.
    2. How to turn off power from roof elevator motor room.
    Here is the danger. The hospital employees are not elevator mechanics. We are Hospital maintenance mechanics. This practice is approved by Hospital Management and Otis Elevator Company.
