Like many of us in the sports world, Craig is a big fan of legendary broadcaster Marv Albert. Boomer on the other hand, who is a legendary broadcaster in his own right, considers Marv a colleague and a friend. With that said, both members of the dynamic duo where pleased that Marv decided to wake up early and call in.
These days Marv can be heard calling football games on CBS, as well as NBA games on TNT and he talked to the guys about both sports. He talked about how thrilled he is to be doing NFL games again and is looking forward to seeing what Shaquille O’Neal will bring to the table in his new role on TNT’s NBA coverage, following his retirement.
The guys also asked Marv about his son Kenny’s unusually large head and what he is benching these days,
As they were saying goodbye, Craig paid a compliment to Marv by telling him he fills out a suit rather nicely…
