Cab Crashes Through Murray Hill Nail Salon, 3 Hurt

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Three people were injured after a cab crashed through a nail salon Wednesday morning in Murray Hill.

A cab went out of control and crashed into a nail salon on Park Avenue South and East 30th Street.

Two pedestrians and the driver were taken to the hospital for treatment.  Their injuries were described as not serious, but the victims were seen lying inside and outside of the salon as rescue crews arrived.

The passengers inside the cab were not hurt. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

    I was on the other side of the street when this happened. Many people who were on the side that it did happen on rushed to their aid. Typical taxi trying to beat the light at high speed in traffic. Hope these people are ok, such a shame just before Christmas. ALL taxi drivers need to learn some road rules and slow it down a bit. And take ALL of their cell phones away. Too much talking and driving. Seriously.
