2 Wrecks On Garden State Parkway Slow Morning Commute

WOODBRIDGE, NJ (CBSNewYork) — One person is dead and another is under arrest in two separate crashes on the Garden State Parkway.

The wrecks happened around 1 a.m. Thursday near Woodbridge.

A car heading southbound hit a guard rail then flipped into the northbound lanes. The driver was killed.
 
Police say another driver who was rubbernecking crashed his car. He was arrested on DWI charges.

New Jersey State Police closed the left lane on the southbound side to make repairs.
