AMBER Alert Cancelled For 2-Year-Old In Hamilton, New Jersey

HAMILTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — An AMBER Alert has been cancelled for a toddler in Hamilton, New Jersey who was thought to have been abducted by his non-custodial mother.

New Jersey State Police said that 2-year-old Mason Ross may have been taken by Cassidy Michaela Purdy, who was last seen wearing a gray and white-zippered sweater, tank top and black Converse sneakers.

Earlier, police said they might have been possibly en-route to Atlantic City on foot or bus. The child was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

The circumstances surrounding the boy’s disappearance are not yet clear.

If he has been found why are we still getting the amber alert over the TV? It is now 10:00 and this has been going on since 4:00 here in Tabernacle and where my son lives in Oaklyn. Meanwhile, my friend in Egg Harbor near where the abduction happened has had nothing on her TV.

may have been abducted by his non-custodial mother, your kidding right, sounds to me it was the childs birth mother who does not have full custody. Hope they catch the cebabo cause im getting tired of the overkill TV amber alerts.

So the mother wants the child. It’s not bad. Everybody knows that the father only wants the brat so that he doesn’t have to pay child support. I wish I was with my ma.
