NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Christmas morning proved tragic for one woman in Brooklyn.
Police say the woman was struck by a hit-and-run driver at Eastern Parkway and Troy Avenue around 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
The 38-year-old was taken to Kings County Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police say the driver of a grey vehicle fled eastbound on Eastern Parkway.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending family notification.
