NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A child is dead after an apparent domestic abuse incident in the Bronx, police said.
The incident took place the day after Christmas at 10:50 a.m. That’s when police say Kevin Palmer, 20, of Stratford Avenue assaulted the 19-year-old mother of his child and her mother, 43.

Police say they found 3-month-old Anetta Taylor-Palmer in the apartment and rushed her St. Barnabas Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival. No word yet on the cause of death.
Police arrested Palmer and charged him with three counts of assault related to the altercation with the two women.
The investigation into Anetta’s death is ongoing. No charges have been filed yet related to Anetta’s death.
