Brian Billick joined the program just after 8 a.m. and received a memorable introduction, courtesy of Craig.
After that it was down to the business of football – beginning with the Falcons and the Giants – a game Billick has some added interest in based on his relationship with Falcons head coach Mike Smith. The two are brother-in-laws.
Not to worry though, Mr. Billick is a professional and he didn’t let his personal relationship with Smith cloud his judgment when breaking down the game. The biggest concern Billick sees as far as the Giants is in their secondary, a unit that could get exposed by Matt Ryan and the Falcons’ passing game.
Billick also offered his thoughts of the other Wild Card match-ups scheduled for this weekend before Craig took him to task for what he perceived as a Twitter slight. Craig noticed that after appearing on this show – which he does on a weekly basis – he never Tweets about it afterward. This struck Craig as odd, considering Billick is an avid ‘Tweeter.’ Billick’s explanation was honest and a little harsh, but he did promise to ‘Tweet’ about today’s appearance.
