NEW YORK (WFAN) – WFAN’s Jon Heyman is reporting that the Mets and shortstop Ronny Cedeno are close to a one-year deal worth between $1.1-$1.2 million. The deal is pending a physical.

Cedeno, 29 in February, hit .249/.297/.339 in 454 plate appearances last season for the Pirates.
