I would like to say that after getting word that Chris Wragge was occupying his seat in the Allstate Studio next to Craig, Boomer called in to defend his territory. But the Blonde Bomber made it very clear that  he was quite content being pampered by the fine folks over at ‘Live! with Kelly.’

Boomer was out today so that he could serve as the lovely Kelly Ripa’s co-host this morning and just before 8:30 a.m. he called in to see how things were going in his absence.

Boomer also informed us that he was quite content with his clothing selection, saying ‘I’m looking so good I wanna slap myself,’ before going on to say he was going for the Chris Wragge look.  Okay – nice to hear TV hasn’t jaded the former NFL MVP.

Wragge then asked Boomer if this could become a regular thing, wondering if he should clear his schedule.  Craig was quick to answer that inquiry.
