Police say detectives were conducting surveillance at the Masijid Noor Inc. Mosque in Huntington Tuesday night following incidents of vandalism at the same mosque when they saw 55-year-old Stephen Pratt toss the bottle from his vehicle.

Police say Pratt, of Centerport, was arrested on charges of harassment for the Tuesday night incident and criminal mischief as a hate crime in connection with a Dec. 31 incident in which a white concrete sealer was tossed onto the same driveway.

Information on his lawyer was not immediately available.
