NYPD: Suspects Dressed Like Utility Workers Targeting Elderly Residents In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police are looking for two suspects they say are targeting elderly homeowners by posing as electrical workers and then stealing cash and jewelry.

Joe Rushford said he was working Tuesday when the two suspects targeted his elderly mother Gloria, who was home alone.

“I’d like to wring their neck. I’d like to invite them out in the street here, me and them. Have some fun. You know you pick on a 90-year-old lady,” he told CBS 2’s Kristin Thorne.

“They watch the house and they prey on elderly people and it’s not going to happen again,” he added.

Police said surveillance video shows a man in a uniform walking up to her Borough Park, Brooklyn home, followed by a woman a few minutes later.

They told the homeowner they had to come in her house to do some work, but once they got inside, police said they stole her jewelry, cash and sensitive identification documents.

The suspects also hit a nearby house. The homeowner, who only wanted to identify herself as “Rose,” is 89 years old. She said she was sitting on her front step when a man and a woman came up to her.

Rose said the suspects told her they were with Con Ed. She said the woman distracted her while the man ran into her Kensington home.

“Oh God, I can’t take this. I didn’t sleep all night. I’m afraid,” she said. “They took all my money, took all my jewelry. Everything.”

Police believe the suspects took off in a green four-door sedan.

Police said the woman is about 5-foot-5 and weighs around 140 pounds with dark brown hair. The man is about 6-foot with blue eyes and light brown hair.

The FBI and DEA fabricate evidence, steal from suspects and use murder to close those bad cases.
At the corner of Calaveras and N. Park Victoria in Milpitas California two corrupt DEA allmost caused the death of an elderly lady while they where harrassing a suspect.
The elderly lady was crossing the street about 15 yards ahead of the suspect’s car that was going west bound on Calaveras after having just pulled out of the Shell station. One of the DEA in the bus stop near the Shell station tried to gain the attention of the suspect thereby almost causing the car to hit the elderly lady. The other DEA was at the Shell station.
They have also recently, on several occasions, entered my home while I was not there so that they can get better access to my vehicle and loosen steering linkages, remove wheel weights, tamper with breaks, tamper with transmission linkages, etc… Every time I detect that they have entered my home, my dog looks like he is not feeling well. Why take my insolence out on a dog?
They are also shooting BB guns at my car while driving. One instance they shot a BB gun at my car in a very busy intersection of highways 680&101 while I was traveling 55+ mph.
They have been harrassing me for 20 years.
The DEA is part of the problem and not solution. Apart from being the proxy force for the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) and the NSA, they have been a failure since Nixon’s inception. The DEA could benefit from a large buget cut and employee rift to remove the corrupt ones.
