Body Of Brooklyn Man Found In Building's Basement
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating the death of a Brooklyn man whose body was found in the basement of a building.
Police were called to 587 East 88th Street Thursday night on a report of a suspicious person in the building. When officers arrived, a woman told them she had not heard from her brother in several days and that she had seen a suspicious man walking around.
Cops canvassed the building and eventually found the body of 59-year-old Steven Ifill with multiple stab wounds.
Police say a man was taken into custody for questioning, but the investigation is still ongoing.
