Eli Manning Back At Giants Practice, Looks 'As Sharp As Ever'

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- Worry not, Big Blue backers.

Eli Manning has returned to Giants practice.

Ahead of Sunday's NFC Championship game, Manning left practice early Wednesday with what coach Tom Coughlin described as "a stomach bug, hopefully a 24-hour deal."

"Eli is in the building today and will return to Giants practice!" the team tweeted just after 11 a.m. Thursday. The post was punctuated by the hashtag "ALLIN."

WFAN's Paul Dottino said Manning looked "fine" and "as sharp as ever" during passing drills.

The prospect of David Carr starting under center against the San Francisco 49ers left many Giants fans feeling ill. But Manning's teammates never doubted the toughness of their All-Pro quarterback.

"Ain't nothing wrong with his hands or anything. He's just sick," wide receiver Mario Manningham said yesterday. "Take some meds, he'll be cool. Eli's a tough guy. ... He'll be good."

Do you still doubt Manning's availability for Sunday's game? Sound off below...
