Police Seek East Harlem Attempted Assault Suspect

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is asking for help in determining the whereabouts and identity of a man wanted in connection with an attempted assault in East Harlem.

Authorities say that on January 18 around 2:45 p.m. a man pointed a silver firearm at a Honda Civic while a 16-year-old boy, 15-year-old boy and 50-year-old man were sitting inside.

The round struck the windshield and passenger side door in front of 2132 Second Avenue. No one was injured.

Police released a video of the suspect fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as a male in his late teens or early 20's. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with white stripes on the sleeves, blue jeans and black sneakers.
