FARMINGDALE, NY (CBSNewYork) – A Long Island pizza man has become an internet sensation after video of his impromptu operetta was posted on YouTube.

It was dinner and a show at Stage Door East Deli and Pizzeria in Farmingdale Saturday night when pizza maker Carmelo Raccuglia broke into song after he found out it was a customer’s birthday.

Someone in the restaurant recorded the serenade and posted it to YouTube. Since then, the video has gone viral, garnering more than 300,000 hits and counting.
