The movie was made BY A MUSLIM and EXPLICITLY says it is NOT anti-Muslim, and MOREOVER, that RADICAL ISLAM is only a SMALL percentage (in fact, very small) of ISLAM. The film GOES OUT OF ITS WAY to show a Muslim in a fatherly gesture of kick ball or soccer with children (presumably his children). The film quotes major scholars, whether you agree with them or not, and political figures. Moreover, when it was claimed he did not participate in the production of the film, that would be an accurate quote, if “production” means did you make or otherwise fund the film. I don’t even think that’s equivocal, like, say, a person’s claim he did not have “sex” with a woman (equivocally defining oral “sex” as not sex). Quite literally, he was not involved in the production of the film. If someone shoves a microphone in my face and asks me a question about Islam and then snips it into a film with a thesis, I would argue I was not part of the production of the film. The real question is, is there anything in the film that is fabricated or edited in such a way as to misrepresent people in the film, a cause for libel. Did the editor, for example take a sentence such as ‘We will destroy cancer” and then edit the sentence in such a way as to mean “We will destroy” and then show a picture of Manhattan? If so, that would be a cause for a street protest. The bottom line is a Muslim made that film and went out of his way to show that Muslims are mainly decent citizens and that the threat is from a very very small core of Muslims that espouse RADICAL (i.e. totalitarian and violent) ISLAM.

I can remember back when the IRA was rasing funds in Irish Bars in New York and they were watched like hawks.
